How to lose weight and have a great desert...

I am often asked the question:
What do I eat in the evenings when my sweet tooth wants to be satisfied?
Well here is a simple, quick and easy recipe that will show you how to lose weight AND have an awesome desert that is both filling and "On Diet!"

First off we should know that carbohydrates are not something that you want to load up on in the afternoon and evening if you want to lose weight.
What you do want to have is a quality source of protein.
Protein helps you to recover from your workouts, like the one you had earlier in the morning with your favorite personal trainer in San Jose (I couldn't resist;-), and protein is less likely to convert into fat than consuming carbohydrates or fat in the evening.

So how would you like to have a rich Apple Pie A La Mode for desert tonight?
How about if we made it to be about 95% carbohydrate free?
Sound too good to be true?
Try this: Apple Pie A La Mode Protein Pudding!

Ingredients:
-
2 Scoops Protein Powder
-
1 Cup COLD Water
-
5 Ice Cubes
-
2 Tbsp. Vanilla Pudding Powder: Fat Free & Sugar Free
-
1 Tbsp. (Heaping) Unsweetened Applesauce
-
1/8 Piece of Graham Cracker
-
1/8 Tsp. Cinnamon
Place all ingredients into a good blander and mix on high for one minute.
Serve in a large bowl or just get a spoon and eat it from the blender! (that's what I do;-)
This recipe is low in carbs, high in protein, and the fat is non-existent.

So it is the perfect way to end your day, have your desert, eat it too, and a great way to lose weight while having fun.
